A fun slalom tournament is here! So, you are not going to Nationals - bummer. Let’s have some fun. First round slalom – WUSS. Wood Underground Ski Society. Dust off the old Hook or Comp and let’s see it turn and burn. It must be a period wood ski (sorry, no late year Maha, but old ones are welcome) without any glass. It must have period bindings (or at least hardware if you had to replace the rubber), so your foot feels the wood). You must have a period, original or period replacement fin. Sorry, no wings. Top boat speed 30 mph and you start cutting rope. We may even have a period boat without speed control and fuel injection.
Second round slalom – Wide Ride. Your ski must be at least 7 ¼ inches an inch in front of the front binding. Top boat speed 30 mph and you start cutting rope. Can you go slow and short? We’ll see….
First Round Wakeboard – normal rules
